Struck by a faded and worn yet adorable corsage displayed in an antique shop in a small town in France, the founder became convinced of the importance of costume accessories as "fashion props" and founded Atelier Someka in 1981.
The exquisite combination of 10 primary color dyes is used to transform an infinite number of colors into dye white fabric, which is then handcrafted into three-dimensional shapes. Atelier Someka's floral decorations, created with a Japanese sensibility, are popular with many fashion designers and have been supporting the fashion industry behind the scenes since the 1980s.
