[7G pique knitting]
This knitting method alternates between vertical and horizontal stitches to create raised or openwork patterns on the surface. It is called "piqué knitting" because it resembles the white spots found on a fawn's back. The three-dimensional effect means that less surface area comes into contact with the skin, making it breathable.
